If you are really in the mood, why not write to the Media Page (if they have one) or the Editor of your favourite daily or Sunday newspaper and tell them what has happened to the broadcasting sector in the Midlands. They may not actually be that aware of the current situation but they are always on the look out for a regional story.

Or you could write a short letter to the Letters Page saying why you think it is a 'disgrace' that the BBC and others have made so many cutbacks in the region. Tell them how you feel and why this matter is important - not just for the Midlands but for broadcasting too.
