Presentation at the House of Commons

We were delighted to accept an invitation from the West Midlands group of Labour MP's to meet with them at the House of Commons on Tuesday 19th March 2013. During the hour long meeting we were able to present our findings into BBC expenditure in the regions. We were thanked for the work we have done and the MP's updated us on the meetings they have had with the BBC regarding its presence in the Midlands. We agreed that more needs to be done, in particular, in listing the benefits that the corporation will gain by increasing expenditure and returning to a broad programme making base in the heart of England. As a result of this meeting, the Campaign is now preparing discussion documents regarding radio and television production and how these can be boosted in the region.

We would be pleased to address all other Midlands MP's - please get in touch.
