Think of a star, any star! Actors, singers, comedians from the Midlands. Many of them have got their initial break on regional televsion. Where will the up and coming talent of today get their big break if the broadcasting industry in the Midlands declines any further?

Think of a famous local celebrity and Google their name plus the word 'website' and you will easily find their official website (or use 'management agency') and send them an email. Tell them about your concerns. Tell them about this website (suggest to them that they could send a message of support or to sign The BBC petition). 

Ask them to use their contacts in the broadcasting industry to help revitalise broadcasting in the Midlands. You might be pleasantly surprised at their response.
